Our approach is person-centred, strengths-based, and aligned with NDIS principles, supporting individuals to engage fully in everyday activities that matter to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1536\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/www.otsolutions.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/PEOP_MODEL.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-96\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Framework Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>PEOP model<\/strong> guides our occupational therapy practice by focusing on how people engage in meaningful activities within their everyday environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Person<\/strong><br>We consider physical, cognitive, emotional, sensory, and psychosocial strengths and challenges, as well as values, goals, and lived experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Environment<\/strong><br>We assess physical, social, cultural, institutional, and policy environments that support or limit participation (e.g. home setup, support networks, community access).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Occupation<\/strong><br>We focus on meaningful daily activities such as self-care, productivity, leisure, community participation, and roles across the lifespan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4.
